Mentorship program for undocumented students interested in health professions

Pre-Health Dreamers (PHD), which is a network of pre-health undocumented students, launched its Peer Engagement and Enrichment Program (PEEP).  This project seeks to support undocumented students who are interested in applying to health-related graduate programs.  As a participant, you will receive the following: (1) Regular engagement assistance with a small group of peers, (2) application assistance and guidance, (3) networking opportunities with individuals across the nation, with similar career interests, (4) the opportunity to shape the content and direction of the program to best fit your needs, and (5) the ability to connect with PHD members who are presently in a health profession or graduate program.  Please note that this is an online program and it is open to undocumented students in any state.

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be foreign born
  • Not have permanent residency or U.S. citizenship
  • Be currently residing in the United States
  • Be applying for admission to a graduate/professional school
  • Be available to attend each of the monthly sessions in the assigned PEEP group Be interested in engaging in Pre-Health Dreamers’ advocacy efforts
