If you live in or near Irvine, California, consider attending the UC Wide Workshop on Undocumented Students & Youth, which will feature research by UC scholars with the goal of identifying research-driven policy recommendations for how educational institutions can best serve undocumented students. I will be giving a presentation on undocumented students’ decisions to disclose (or conceal) their immigration status with school personnel, as well as the implications that each decision has on their educational journeys.
Date: October 28, 2016
Time: 9am – 5pm
Location: University of California, Irvine (SSPA 2112)
The Workshop is free and open to the public. All interested folks are welcome, including faculty, staff, graduate students, undergraduate students, and community members.
