On June 14, the Washington State Educational Access Coalition for HB 1079 Students will be hosting the “Undocumented Summit: A Call to Action” at the University of Washington. The purpose of this Summit is to identify various ways through which educators can support undocumented students. The Summit is intended for educators, counselors, administrators, community leaders, and policy makers.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Learn how to advocate for undocumented students
- Learn about Coalition research findings and how to apply them
- Be able to train other professionals on their campus/school or in their community to support undocumented students
- Begin to develop a network of undocumented student allies and support on their campus or school
Early Bird Registration Fee: $150
After May 29, 2017 Registration Fee: $175
