Register for this year’s 12th Annual Immigrant Youth Empowerment Conference at UCLA

The AB540 Project of IDEAS at UCLA is holding its 12th annual immigrant youth empowerment conference on May 25, 2019. The conference hosts workshops aimed to educate and empower undocumented youth to pursue higher education. The conference is free. Complimentary lunch will also be provided.

Venue: UCLA Ackerman Grand Ballroom, 2nd Level, Westwood Plaza, Los Angeles, California 90024
Date: Saturday, May 25th, 2019
Registration and Breakfast: 8-10AM
Conference: 10am – 5:00pm

Attendees will:
— Learn about different legislation affecting undocumented students, such as AB540, SB68, CA Dream Act and DACA
— Attend a wide array of workshops pertaining to education, financial and legal resources, intersectionalities within the undocumented community, mental health and student activism
— Network with different organizations that support undocumented students
— Become eligible for the annual IYEC Scholarship (presence is required to be eligible)
