Scholarship opportunity open to undocumented community college students

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is offering up to $40,000 per year to students transferring from two-year and community colleges.

Each award will help students cover a significant share of their educational expenses – including tuition, living expenses, books and required fees – for the final two to three years necessary to achieve a bachelor’s degree.

To be eligible, you must:

Just like their college scholarship available to undocumented high school seniors, please note that non-US citizens may be eligible for the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s scholarships if they demonstrate unmet financial need, regardless of their eligibility for other types of federal and institutional financial aid. You must, however, reside in the United States or a US territory and attend high school in the United States.

The deadline to apply is December 15, 2015
