The Dream Success Center at CSU Long Beach is looking for an Assistant Director who will provide undocumented students with academic and emotional support, referrals to financial assistance, information on programs and services designed to improve retention and graduation rates, and a welcoming environment where students can connect with one another. The Assistant Director will also create and implement programs and services for students. The salary will be $4,082 to $4,833 per month.
Here are the education and experience requirements:
- Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree with upper division or graduate coursework in counseling and guidance, human relations, or related fields
- Three years of professional experience in one of the student services program areas required.
- Professional experience and/or community involvement with undocumented and/or immigrant groups.
- Master’s degree in higher education, student affairs, counseling, education, student development, leadership, or a related field preferred.
