As part of the National College Fair to be held at Chicago, IL, on Saturday, October 1st, there will be a workshop focused on college and financial aid access to undocumented students titled “DREAMers Pathway to College.” The session will be held in both English and Spanish and is meant for students, their parents, and educators/mentors. Around 1,500 undocumented students graduate from Chicago-area high schools each year and this event is meant to assist them in navigating the process of obtaining a postsecondary education despite all the barriers.
