
The Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans supports one to two years of graduate study in any field and in any advanced degree-granting program in the United States. Each award is for up to $25,000 in stipend support, as well as 50 percent of required tuition and fees, up to $20,000 per year, for one to two years.
To be eligible, you must be:
- A New American (a green card holder or naturalized citizen if born abroad; a child of parents who were not U.S. citizens at the time of their births; someone born outside the U.S. and adopted by U.S. citizens; a DACA recipient).
- Not yet 31 years old, as of the November 1 application deadline.
- A college senior or holder of a bachelor’s degree.
- Not beyond your second year – if already enrolled – in the graduate degree program for which you request support.
The deadline to apply is November 1, 2017
