NYSYLC 2022 Scholarship Opportunity: Open to Undocumented Youth in New York City

The New York State Youth Leadership Council (NSYLC) is an undocumented youth-led organization that is dedicated to empowering immigrant youth through organizing, leadership development, and educational advancement. NYSYLC is currently accepting applications for its yearly scholarship opportunity. There will be 5 awards made in total ($500 each).

To be eligible, applicants must:

• “Reside in New York City;
• Be a graduating high school senior, have a High School or GED/HSE/TASC™ diploma;
• Be currently enrolled or will be attending one of the following institutions for Fall 2022: college, or trade school, apprenticeship/certificate program;
• Be recommended by an educator, peer, community member, or faith leader”

The deadline to apply is July 1, 2022 at 11:59pm EST.
