
You do not need to have U.S. citizenship or DACA to be eligible for this scholarship These scholarships are all need-based.
“The maximum grant is $15,000 and may be considerably smaller depending on the applicant’s circumstances and the amount of money available.The average grant in 2022-23 was about $7,500. All of the scholarship funds come from the contributions of individual donors.”
You will need to provide a personal statement, your most recent transcripts, two letters of recommendation and your student aid report (SAR), or if not eligible for federal aid, complete this FAFSA worksheet.
*Please note that even though undocumented students are not eligible for FAFSA and federal financial aid, the Davis Putter Scholarship Fund still asks you to complete the FAFSA worksheet on their website simply so they can get more information about your financial situation. They recognize you will leave certain questions on the worksheet blank, such as your social security number.
