Please note that all Latina graduate students pursuing advanced degrees during the upcoming academic year Fall 2025 – Spring 2026 are welcomed to apply. Nevertheless, the scholarship providers state that priority will be given based on the following guidelines:
- “Identify as a Latina or woman of Latin American/Hispanic descent – Afro-Latinas encouraged to apply
- Are a first-generation college student (neither parent has a college degree from an institution in the U.S.)
- Are a graduate or professional student enrolled full-time or part-time at an accredited college or university
- Demonstrate financial need
- Demonstrate sustained personal engagement with the Latinx/e/o/a community and a desire to work with the Latinx/e/o/a community upon graduation
- Permanently reside and attend school in California in Los Angeles County
- Are in a two-year program or in their final two years of their program and will be graduating in Spring 2027″
