San Diego Dream Team DACA Scholarship: Open to undocumented youth in San Diego, CA

The San Diego Dream Team is an immigrant youth-led organization in San Diego, California.   Through this year’s DACA scholarship, each recipient will be awarded $465 to cover DACA application processing fees.  Scholarship checks will be written to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and will be given to scholarship recipients upon DACA application completion.  All recipients will be required to:

1) Attend a San Diego Dream Team meeting to receive their scholarship
2) Commit to 25 hours of volunteer service with the San Diego Dream Team (i.e. phone banks, DACA clinics, outreach events, educational presentations, etc.).

Here are the eligibility requirements:

  • Eligible first-time or renewing DACA applicant
  • Currently lives in San Diego County
  • Demonstrates financial need

The deadline to apply is September 4, 2016
