The Point Flagship Scholarship, administered by the Point Foundation, supports lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer students earning a Bachelors, graduate, or professional degree. This scholarship is open to LGBTQ undocumented students (with or without DACA)! Recipients of the scholarship will receive financial support, mentorship, access to multiple leadership development programs, and support from a community of LGBTQ scholars and alumni.
To be eligible to apply:
- “Must be enrolled in, or intending to enroll, in an accredited college or university in any state across the country (you can be a senior in high school)
- ‘Must be “out” as a person who identifies as a member of the LGBTQ community’
- Community college students can apply, they just have to be in the process of transferring to a four-year college or university”
The application deadline is December 19, 2023 at 9am PST/ 12pm EST.
Finalists will be invited to submit additional required materials in late February. Recipients will be notified no later than May 31, 2024.
