Immigrants Rising, an organization that works with and supports immigrant and undocumented communities, is hosting 6-week wellness support groups to provide a supportive space and a sense of community for undocumented individuals. There are approximately 10-12 participants in each group. This offers an opportunity for participants to create a close-knit community.
Starting in January, Immigrants Rising will be hosting wellness support groups based on the following themes:
- Black and Undocumented with Akiah Robinson, LMFT (Wednesdays 5:00 pm PST)
- UndocuLatine (español) with Mayra Jimenez, LMFT (Fridays at 9:00 am PST)
- UndocuLove with Kiki Vo, LCSW (Tuesdays at 6:30pm PST)
- UndocuLatinx with Muriel Casamayor, LMFT (Mondays at 10:00 am PST)
- Coping with Uncertainty with Jose Perez, LMFT (Wednesdays 5:30pm PST)
