UndocuPoets Fellowship: Open to Undocumented Poets

UndocuPoets was co-founded in 2015 by Marcelo Hernandez Castillo, Javier Zamora, and Christopher Soto. Today, it is co-organized by Marcelo, along with Janine Joseph, and Esther Lin. This year, UndocuPoets is partnering with the Fine Arts Work Center to provide fellowships to poets who identify as currently or formerly undocumented in the United States. Fellowships include: $500 in unrestricted funds, costs of tuition and housing for a one-week residency at the 2024 Summer Workshop program, a $500 stipend to cover transportation and food costs, amongst other benefits.

The deadline to apply is March 22, 2024 at 11:59pm EST.
