
Aliento is a youth-led organization in Arizona that works closely with individuals who identify as undocumented, DACAmented, or from mixed-status families. This year, they are partnering with the Helios Education Foundation and Education Forward Arizona to provide scholarships that support undocumented community college and university students pursuing their higher education in Arizona. Scholarship recipients are awarded “up to $5,000 per academic year for students enrolled in a bachelor’s degree ($2,500 per semester)” and “up to $2,500 per academic year to students enrolled in an associate’s degree ($1,250 per semester).”
Here are the eligibility requirements:
- “Be eligible for in-state tuition under Prop 308 (DACA or undocumented).
- Have graduated from an Arizona high school or equivalent.
- Be enrolled full time (minimum 12 credit hours) for the Fall 2025 semester.”
The deadline to apply is March 23, 2025, at 11:59pm.
