2025 TEF & LGG Scholarship: Open to Undocumented Latina Graduate Students

The TELACU Education Foundation and the Latina Grad Guide are partnering to offer a scholarship opportunity for current or incoming Latina graduate students. Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $2,500 per recipient.

Please note that all Latina graduate students pursuing advanced degrees during the upcoming academic year Fall 2025 – Spring 2026 are welcomed to apply. Nevertheless, the scholarship providers state that priority will be given based on the following guidelines:

  • “Identify as a Latina or woman of Latin American/Hispanic descent – Afro-Latinas encouraged to apply
  • Are a first-generation college student (neither parent has a college degree from an institution in the U.S.)
  • Are a graduate or professional student enrolled full-time or part-time at an accredited college or university
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Demonstrate sustained personal engagement with the Latinx/e/o/a community and a desire to work with the Latinx/e/o/a community upon graduation
  • Permanently reside and attend school in California in Los Angeles County
  • Are in a two-year program or in their final two years of their program and will be graduating in Spring 2027″

The deadline to apply is March 31, 2025 at 11:59pm PST
