2025 Immigrant Progress Scholarship: Open to Undocumented, TPS, and DACAmented Students in Lake County, Illinois

The Center for Immigrant Progress (CIP) s a grassroots organization in Illinois committed to providing “protection, education, and social and economic opportunity for immigrant children and families.” The CIP is currently accepting applications for their Immigrant Progress Scholarship, which will provide awards of $1,000 to students to support their completion of college courses, trade school, or other workforce training programs.

Here are the eligibility requirements:

  1. “Must reside in Lake County, IL, and be enrolled for the 2025-2026 calendar year at an accredited college, university, or vocational training program.

  2. Be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 on a 4.00 scale.

  3. Should demonstrate leadership through community involvement on or off campus.

  4. Must be undocumented, DACA or TPS holder, high school senior graduating by May of 2025, or be enrolled in college or vocational training courses for the Summer or Fall of 2025.”
