LNESC is. non-profit organization that offers scholarships, leadership opportunities, and more to students across the country. Since 1975, LNESC and LULAC have partnered to sustain the LULAC National Scholarship Fund (LNSF), which is dedicated to supporting youth pursue a higher education. LNSF is currently accepting applications from college or university students who are pursuing an associate’s, bachelor’s, or graduate degree. Scholarship awards range from $250 to $2,000.
Here are the eligibility requirements:
- “Must be a U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident, or be granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
- Must have applied to or be enrolled as a full-time student in a college or university, including 2-year colleges, or vocational schools that lead to an associate’s degree. Graduate students must have applied to or be enrolled as a part-time student in a college or university.
- A student will not be eligible for a scholarship if he/she is related to a scholarship committee member, the Council President, or an individual contributor to the local funds of the Council.
- Must have a participating LULAC Council in your area to be considered for the scholarship. Please check the list of participating LULAC Councils before accessing the application. If there is not a LULAC Council in your area, you are not eligible for consideration.“
The deadline to apply is March 31, 2026.
