2016 Association of Raza Educators Scholarship: Open to undocumented students in San Diego, CA



The Association of Raza Educators (A.R.E.) is awarding educational scholarships to graduating high school seniors entering college and college students currently enrolled in community college or a four-year university. Scholarship recipients are selected based on need and their commitment to their communities.

Here are the eligibility requirements:

– Must demonstrate leadership in extra-curricular activities; a commitment to improve the conditions of your community, financial need, and most importantly you must demonstrate a high level of community involvement.

– Must be a student/community member residing in San Diego at time of applying.

– Must be an Undocumented/ AB 540/ Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) student or an active community member.

– Must be enrolled in an accredited College or University for fall 2016 with a full-time schedule.

– Must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or above. Must be able to attend our 9th Annual A.R.E. Banquet – Date and time TBD
