The AB540 Project is excited to announce their 11th annual Immigrant Youth Empowerment Conference (IYEC). This year’s theme is: “Dreams Beyond DACA: All of Us or None of Us” The annual conference hosts numerous workshops to educate and empower undocumented communities. Here’s more information about the event:

Registration and Optional Breakfast: 8:00 – 10:00 AM
Conference: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
By attending this conference, attendees will:
— Learn about different legislation affecting undocumented students, such as AB540, CA Dream Act, and DACA
— Attend a wide array of workshops pertaining to education, financial and legal resources, intersectionality within the undocumented community, mental health and student activism
— Network with different organizations that support undocumented students
— Become eligible for the annual IYEC Scholarship funded by the AB540 project and IDEAS
