Job Opportunity: Assistant Director at CSU Long Beach’s Dream Success Center

The Dream Success Center at CSU Long Beach is currently searching for an Assistant Director. The Assistant Director will be responsible for providing “undocumented students with academic and emotional support, referrals to financial assistance, information on programs and services designed to improve retention and graduation rates, and a welcoming environment where students can connect with one another.” The salary for this position ranges from $4,690 to $6,682 per month.

Here are some of the requirements for this job opportunity:

  • “Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree with upper division or graduate coursework in counseling and guidance, human relations, or related fields and three years of professional experience in one of the student services program areas required.
  • Professional experience and/or community involvement with undocumented and/or immigrant groups.
  • Master’s degree in higher education, student affairs, counseling, education, student development, leadership, or a related field preferred.”
