UC Irvine in California is hiring a Student Success Initiatives Counselor to work with undocumented students on campus!

Job Description: 

“The primary focus of this role will be to provide leadership and counseling to UCI’s undocumented students and coordinate Student Success InitiativeI’s DREAM Scholars program. The DREAM Scholars program is designed to promote the holistic development, and increase the retention of, undocumented students by connecting them with campus and community resources, build community, and support their academic success. This position will be expected to implement high impact practices that support students in academic recovery through one-on-one coaching, tracking students academic progress, provide early interventions when needed, as well as make necessary referrals to campus resources. This role will interpret related University policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality and help with reports that support the goals and mission of Student Success Initiatives and the Division of Undergraduate education.”

Salary Range:

$58,500.00 –  $103,700.00 with benefits.

Required Background and Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in student advising
  • Bachelor’s degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
