California State Universities UndocuSummit: Call for Proposals

The Dream Centers across the various California State University (CSU) campuses identified the need to create a forum where undocumented students, and those from mixed-status families, can come together to network and foster a sense of community. This is the first year that organizers representing some of the Dream Centers will host an UndocuStudent Summit where speakers can present on topics related to the lived experiences of undocumented and mixed-status students and their families. The summit will take place on Saturday, March 16th, 2024 at CSU Long Beach.

The organizers are currently encouraging and accepting proposals from speakers to attend the summit. This includes student scholars, alumni, practitioners, and community leaders who can share insights on topics such as professional development, graduate school, activism, entrepreneurship, amongst others. You do not need to be affiliated with the CSU campuses to present at the summit!

Please note that as per the guidelines set forth by the organizers, attendees of this event are exclusive to CSU students, Dream Center staff, and the immigration service providers who directly support students. For more information on this event and registration, please contact your specific CSU campus Dream Center.”

For questions or support please email dream@csulb.edu.

The deadline to submit a proposal is January 5th, 2024.

For more information and to submit a proposal, please see their official webpage.
