The TELACU Education Foundation and the Latina Grad Guide are partnering to offer a scholarship opportunity for current or incoming Latina graduate students. Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $2,500 per recipient.

Please note that all Latina graduate students pursuing advanced degrees during the upcoming academic year Fall 2024 – Spring 2025 are welcomed to apply. Nevertheless, the scholarship providers state that priority will be given based on the following guidelines:

• “Identify as a Latina or woman of Latin American/Hispanic descent – Afro-Latinas encouraged to apply
• Are a first-generation college student (neither parent has a college degree from an institution in the U.S)
• Are a graduate or professional student enrolled full-time or part-time at an accredited college or university
• Demonstrate financial need
• Demonstrate sustained personal engagement with the Latinx/e/o/a community and a desire to work with the Latinx/e/o/a community upon graduation
• Permanently reside in California in one of the following counties: Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and San Diego County (applications also accepted for students who reside in the counties but attend school in other counties/states)
• Are in their final year of their program and will be graduating in Spring 2025″

The deadline to apply is March 31, 2024
