College Board is a non-profit organization that works to improve access to a college education for students through various initiatives, including research, scholarships, as well as test preparation and administration support. College Board is currently accepting applications for its BigFuture Scholarships program, which include a chance to win $500 and $40,000 awards. This scholarship opportunity is open to high school students who are in the class of 2024, 2025, and 2026. Please note that this opportunity is also open to undocumented high school students in those graduating classes. College Board BigFuture Scholarships states on their website that, there are “no essay, no minimum GPA or test score, or citizenship requirements. Just follow the steps for chances to win. The more steps you complete and the earlier you start, the more chances you have to win!”
In addition to being a student in the class of 2024, 2025, or 2026, students must meet the following requirements:
- “Have a College Board account;
- attend public or private high school or are enrolled in a home school in the United States, Puerto Rico, or any other U.S. territories;
- and U.S. citizens and residents attending Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) schools.”
Since there are multiple steps to be completed as part of this scholarship opportunity, there are various deadlines that are important to note. For detailed information about the steps and deadlines, check out their official website: BigFuture Scholarships, including their page which details each step and its corresponding deadline.
