Jaime Lucero Mexican Studies Institute Scholarship: Open to undocumented students at CUNY

The Jaime Lucero Mexican Studies Institute is offering ‘s $4800 to $6330 scholarships to City University of New York (CUNY) undergraduate and graduate students who meet three criteria: academic excellence, financial need, and commitment to service in the Mexican community. This opportunity is open to undocumented students.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Academic excellence (minimum 3.0 GPA)
  • Financial need
  • Commitment to service in the Mexican community

Application Materials:

  • Completed application form
  • Most recent transcript
  • Two essays: a personal statement and a financial statement (1 page each)
  • A letter of recommendation and recommendation form
