Hispanic Scholarship Foundation: Open to undocumented students with DACA

40th-anniversary-logo-enThe Hispanic Scholarship Foundation is awarding scholarships to high school seniors, undergraduates, graduate students, and community college transfers. Awards range from $500 to $5,000. This scholarship opportunity is open to undocumented students with DACA. Here are the eligibility requirements:

Graduating high school seniors

  • Must be of Hispanic Heritage
  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for High School Students
  • Plan to enroll Full-Time in an accredited not-for -profit 4 year university or graduate school during FALL of scholarship cycle year
  • U.S. Citizen, Permanent Legal Resident, DACA or Eligible Non-Citizen (as defined by FAFSA)
  • Complete FAFSA
  • Complete state Dream Act financial aid application (if applicable)

Community college transfers, college undergrads and graduate students

  • Must be of Hispanic Heritage
  • Minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for college and graduate students
  • Plan to enroll Full-Time in an accredited not-for -profit 4 year university or graduate school during FALL of scholarship cycle year
  • U.S. Citizen, Permanent Legal Resident, DACA or Eligible Non-Citizen (as defined by FAFSA)
  • Complete FAFSA
  • Complete state Dream Act financial aid application (if applicable)

The deadline to apply is March 30, 2016
