Frank Kazmierczak Memorial Migrant Scholarship: Open to undocumented migrant students

GMC1The Geneseo Migrant Center provides services to migrant farmworkers. Each year, they award scholarships of $1,000 each to migrant students who are pursuing a college education. This scholarship opportunity is in honor of Frank Karmierczak, who was a long time migrant educator.

Here are the eligibility requirements:

  • Child of a migrant worker or a migrant worker (priority will be given to those with mobility in the last 3 years)
  • Teaching as a career goal
  • Scholastic achievement
  • Financial need

The deadline to apply is on February 1, 2016
