Scholarships for undocumented students [March/April deadlines]

Screen Shot 2016-01-08 at 12.54.19 PMAt My (Un)Documented Life blog, we share up-to-date scholarship opportunities that are open to undocumented students.  To help you narrow your search, we have complied a list of scholarship opportunities with March and April 2016 deadlines:

[Deadline: 3/30/16] Becas Univision Scholarship– This scholarship opportunity is open to high school students, undergraduates, and graduate students (awards range from $500 to $5,000).Scholarship funds may be used for tuition, fees, books, and other academic related supplies, as well as for room/board and transportation expenses related to school.

[Deadline: 3/31/16] Chicana/Latina FoundationScholarship– Each year, the Chicana Latina Foundation awards merit-based scholarships of $1,500 each to Latina college students.

[Deadline: 3/31/16] New York State Leadership Council Scholarship– $500 scholarships for graduating high school seniors, person with High School diploma or GED certificate residing in the NY state area planning to attend college in the spring of 2016; OR current undergraduate student.

[Deadline 4/1/16] Davis-Putter Scholarship– Scholarships (up to $10,000 each) to undergraduate and graduate students who are active in movements for social justice.

[Deadline: 4/2/16] Orange County Immigrant Youth United Scholarship– Scholarship awards range from $500 for continuing college, vocational and graduate students and $250 for graduating high school and GED students attending college in the Fall 2016.

[Extended Deadline: 4/11/16] BECA Foundation Scholarship– $500 to $1000 scholarships for graduating high school students in San Diego county who will begin college in the fall; students entering the Medical/Health Care profession; OR students attending Cal State University, San Marcos.

[Extended Deadline 4/11/16] Hispanic Scholarship Foundation– Scholarships for high school seniors, undergraduates, graduate students, and community college transfers. Awards range from $500 to $5,000.

[Extended Deadline: 4/15/16] SGP Scholarship– $1000 scholarship opportunity for high school seniors currently residing in North Carolina

[Deadline: 4/17/16] DreamSF Fellowship– Fellowships for DACA beneficiaries in San Francisco, CA . Each DreamSF Fellow will receive a stipend of $8,400 over the duration of the program as well as a monthly transportation stipend.

[Deadline: 4/31/16] MexAustin Scholarship– $1000 scholarships for students in Texas.
