Los Amigos de El Salvador Scholarship: Open to undocumented students

The Amigos de El Salvador (ADES) is committed to supporting low-income students pursue a higher education.  This year, they are providing three scholarship awards to Latino students residing in Contra Costa County, California.

Here are the eligibility requirements for this scholarship opportunity:

  • Graduating from an accredited high school this academic year or currently enrolled at a college or university.
  • Earning a minimum of a 2.5 GPA.
  • Demonstrated need for financial assistance. Proof of income. (Copies of 2015 Income Tax returns)
  • The student must be a Latino/Hispanic resident of Contra Costa County.
  • The student must be enrolled or planed to enroll full-time in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited higher education institution in the fall after graduating from high school.

The deadline to apply is September 1, 2016
