Microsoft recently opened this year’s scholarship opportunity, which seeks to encourage students to pursue studies in Computer Science and related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) disciplines. This scholarship opportunity is open to undocumented students. As long as you are currently enrolled at a four-year program at an institution in US, Mexico or Canada and meet all other criteria for scholarship eligibility, you can apply regardless of your citizenship. Scholarship recipients will receive full or partial tuition covered for one academic year.
Here are the eligibility requirements:
- You must be enrolled full time in a bachelor’s degree program at a four-year college or university in North America at the time the application is submitted
- The scholarship is open to students pursuing Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM degree
- Maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average out of a possible 4.0, or a 4.0 cumulative grade point average out of a possible 5.0
The deadline to apply is January 26, 2017
