The Student Education and Leadership Fund (SELF) is committed to giving back to the community by providing financial assistance to students who are planning to enroll in post-secondary programs of study. They are now accepting applications for the 2016–2017 award cycle. And will be awarding at least one scholarship worth a minimum of $6,000. This scholarship opportunity is open to undocumented students.
Here are the eligibility requirements:
live in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia
will have graduated from high school by July 1, 2017
plan to enroll in a post-secondary educational program for 2017
have overcome a significant challenge
plan to use post-secondary education to have a lasting impact on your community
The deadline to apply is December 31, 2016
