HEFAS (Higher Education for AB 540 Students) is happy to announce that our 3rd Annual Summit is happening on May 05, 2017 from 9 AM-3 PM in De Anza College’s Euphrat Museum!
This year’s theme is “Build Bridges, Not Walls” to emphasize the importance of community and the power of students in light of the political climate. Every spring, HEFAS invites students, parents, educators, and community members to a day-long event to learn about a wide-range of issues concerning the undocumented immigrant community. This year’s event will feature informational workshops, fun activities and guest Sarahi E. Salamanca, creator of the DREAMer’s Roadmap app.
Admission is free plus breakfast and lunch are provided!
