Undocumented & Applying to Grad School? Register for a Mini-Conference Organized by TheDream.Us & Carolina

Are you considering or preparing to apply to graduate school but don’t know where to start? Join TheDream.Us and Carolina (founder of My Undocumented Life) at the Graduate School Mini-Conference.

The event will take place virtually (via Zoom) on August 25 & 26, 2021. The conference will feature information and resources regarding the intricacies of applying to graduate school while undocumented (with or without DACA). It will also feature currently or formerly Undocu-professionals.

There are two different sessions each day and each session covers a different topic. Please be sure to adjust for your time zone accordingly.

TheDream.Us is the nation’s largest scholarship provider for undocumented students and those with TPS. The organization works to help 6,000 highly motivated DREAMers graduate from college with career-ready degrees. TheDream.Us partners with over 70 colleges—both community colleges and 4-year universities—to provide a wide range of information, support, and resources to Dream.Us fellows.

Carolina grew up undocumented in the U.S. for over a decade. In 2011, she created My Undocumented Life as a platform for undocumented communities to obtain up-to-date information and resources on pursuing higher education, immigration policies, and much more. Carolina recently completed her PhD in Education at Harvard. Her current research project explores the consequences of heightened immigration enforcement on undocumented immigrants and their families.
