Job Opportunity: Part-Time Social Worker at the Harvard Representation Initiative

The Harvard Representation Initiative (HRI) is a pro-bono law office that provides support and services to students, staff, and faculty at Harvard University for any immigration-related needs. This includes providing consultations and immigration representation. The HRI is currently looking to hire a part-time social worker who will help support the needs of undocumented and DACAmented students. The part-time social worker will also be responsible for accompanying clients to their immigration appointments and benefits offices, as well as developing mental health resources, amongst other tasks. The salary range for this position is $42,200 – $72,100 based on 20 hrs/week.

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • “Master’s in Social Work, LICSW plus 3 years of work in social work, counseling, or related human-service field; or
  • Graduate degree and other state licensure plus 5 years of relevant lived or work experience.”
