DACA Scholars is a free mobile app that features scholarship opportunities for Latina/o students. You can learn more about what motivated Deyvid Morales, a fellow undocumented student, to create the app on this post. And if you haven’t downloaded this app on your phone, definitely check it out! This year, they are offering 4 scholarships to students who are pursuing a higher education (2 scholarships of $500 & 2 scholarships of $1,000 for the Spring 2017 semester). This scholarship opportunity is open to students nation-wide.
Here are the eligibility requirements:
- Be an undocumented student (with or without DACA)
- Be currently enrolled in 12th grade – Ph.D.
- Be involved in local organizing efforts
